Relational Supervision

I am currently training and working towards the diploma in Relational Supervision which I will attain in November 2023.  This model emphasises the interconnectedness of our human experience. Who we are is influenced by our relationships and our sense of self can shift and recreate depending on who we are relating to. This supervision paradigm considers the relational field of the client, the therapist- client and therapist-supervisor. It includes one-to-one relationships as well as the wider socio-cultural field. It’s necessary to consider all of these contexts as they all impact the supervisory process.

As part of my course I am required to work with supervisees in order to gain experience in using the relational supervision model. In addition to the model, I bring ten years of clinical experience. I have worked with a wide range of diagnoses, for example in residential treatment settings with clients experiencing Dissociative Identity Disorder and other personality disorders. I have worked with a wide range of symptoms such as addictions, eating disorders, OCD, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, anger, relational difficulties both in private practice and in private clinics. I bring to supervision my rich life experience and interest in diversity and creativity.

If you are interested in receiving discounted supervision at the fee of £30, please get in touch. I am able to see you either by Zoom or at my Gloucester Road clinic.
